This week, students are learning about the parts of a story. They are learning about characters (mein? who is in the story?), setting (wein? where does the story happen?), plot (shu? what happens in the story?), problem (mushukula?) and resolution (haleit?). They will analyze some stories in class, and then write some stories of their own!
Math
Students are learning how to record and represent data. They are learning how to use tally marks and pictographs.Science
Flying animals are the topic of this weeks science lesson. Watch for a test on "How animals adapt" at the end of the week. Check to see that your child does the review on page 96 in the science workbook.Websites for help, practice and FUN!
